國立暨南國際大學致力推動再生能源與淨零碳排，已於 2024 年公開承諾，校園能源規劃將以太陽能光電建置及減碳措施為核心，並訂定目標於 2043 年達成全校淨零碳排。
National Chi Nan University (NCNU) is committed to promoting renewable energy and achieving net-zero carbon emissions. In 2024, the university publicly pledged that campus energy planning will focus on solar PV installations and carbon reduction measures, with a target of achieving net-zero carbon across the campus by 2043.
校園再生能源建置 Campus Renewable Energy Development
截至 2024 年，校內已建置太陽能光電設備 8,640 kWp，年發電量達 14,739 GJ，占全校總用電量約 33.8%，有效降低校園碳排與能源消耗。
As of 2024, NCNU has installed 8,640 kWp of solar PV systems on campus, generating 14,739 GJ annually, accounting for approximately 33.8% of total campus electricity consumption, effectively reducing carbon emissions and energy use.
校際合作與公開倡議 Inter-University Collaboration and Public Advocacy
國立暨南國際大學積極參與區域性永續與淨零倡議， 2024 年 6 月與中部地區十所大學共同簽署「氣候變遷與教育宣言」，透過教育、研討會及合作活動推廣再生能源與淨零理念。
NCNU actively participates in regional sustainability and net-zero initiatives. In June 2024, NCNU joined nine other universities in central Taiwan to sign the "Climate Change and Education Declaration," promoting renewable energy and net-zero principles through education, seminars, and collaborative events.

十所中區大學共同簽署「氣候變遷與教育宣言」，承諾在教育和研究領域中加強合作，推動永續發展及實現淨零碳排放目標。
The ten universities in Central Taiwan jointly signed the "Declaration on Climate Change and Education," committing to strengthen collaboration in education and research, promote sustainable development, and achieve net-zero carbon emissions.
