USR Energy Efficiency Demonstration Farms
Through its USR programs, NCNU has supported the Puli water bamboo (筊白筍) industry in adopting LED energy-saving lighting technology, reducing electricity consumption and minimizing light pollution. These demonstration initiatives not only enhance agricultural sustainability but also serve as valuable references for local government energy policy planning.
截至 2024 年，NCNU 校園已建置 8,640 kWp 太陽能光電系統，年發電量達 14,739 GJ，占全校總用電量約 33.8%，有效降低校園碳排與能源消耗，成為校園永續能源轉型的典範。

Campus Renewable Energy Experience Sharing:
As of 2024, NCNU has installed 8,640 kWp of solar photovoltaic systems on campus, generating 14,739 GJ annually, which accounts for approximately 33.8% of total campus electricity consumption. This significantly reduces campus carbon emissions and energy use, establishing NCNU as a model for campus sustainable energy transition.
The experience gained from the installation and management of campus solar PV systems provides valuable insights and technical information for local governments to reference and adopt in their own energy policies.
本校積極參與區域性永續與淨零倡議。2024 年 6 月與中部地區十所大學共同簽署 「氣候變遷與教育宣言」，透過教育、研討會及合作專案，推廣再生能源與淨零理念，將校園永續影響力延伸至社區與政策層面。
Inter-University Collaboration and Public Advocacy
NCNU actively participates in regional sustainability and net-zero initiatives. In June 2024, NCNU joined ten universities from central Taiwan in signing the “Climate Change and Education Declaration.” Through education, workshops, and collaborative projects, NCNU promotes renewable energy and net-zero principles, extending the impact of campus sustainability to local communities and policy development.
