National Chi Nan University Hosts the Asia-Pacific Social Innovation Summit to Advance SDG Collaboration
In May 2024, National Chi Nan University (NCNU) hosted the Asia-Pacific Social Innovation Summit – “Resilient Asia”, a two-day international conference gathering representatives from 13 countries, including government agencies, NGOs, industries, and academia.
Co-organized by NCNU, the National Development Council, Nantou County Government, and the Asia Pacific Social Innovation Partnership Network (APSN), the summit focused on sustainability, climate action, and social innovation aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants discussed sustainable cities, low-carbon economy, circular innovation, and education for resilience, while sharing data-driven approaches and evaluation mechanisms related to SDG progress. The event provided a platform for cross-sectoral dialogue and international collaboration in gathering and exchanging sustainability data, supporting evidence-based policymaking in the Asia-Pacific region.
NCNU continues to strengthen partnerships and foster research for a more resilient and sustainable future.
國立暨南國際大學於 2024 年 5 月舉辦「亞太社會創新高峰會 – 韌性亞洲（Resilient Asia）」，為期兩天的國際會議吸引來自 13 個國家 的政府官員、非政府組織（NGOs）、產業代表與學者齊聚埔里校園，共同探討社會創新、氣候行動及聯合國永續發展目標（SDGs）之實踐策略。
活動由 國立暨南國際大學 與 行政院國家發展委員會、南投縣政府、亞太社會創新合作組織（APSN） 共同主辦，並獲多國駐台辦事處、企業及青年組織參與。與會者針對永續城市、低碳經濟、循環社會及教育創新等議題進行討論，並分享各國在 SDGs 數據蒐集、政策落實與成效評估 的經驗，促進亞太區域間的永續合作與資料交流。
本次高峰會除促進跨部門（產、官、學、社）對話外，也作為 SDGs 國際合作資料蒐集與分享平台，支持區域決策者及研究團隊建立共同的永續指標與觀測資料，以推進聯合國永續發展目標的落實。未來，暨大將持續與國際夥伴合作，深化社會創新研究與實踐，打造具韌性的永續亞太社群。
