國立暨南國際大學（NCNU）長期致力於 SDG 15 陸域生態保育，結合校園研究能量、USR 社區合作及教育推廣，推動生態保護、棲地管理與社區生態紀錄。2024 年，本校公開永續報告書，揭露多項具體成果，展現校園與社區在保育陸域生態系統方面的實際影響。
1. 埔里湧泉調查與新書出版
科技學院 USR 計畫與文史學者潘樵合作，歷經四年田野調查，完成埔里鎮天然湧泉分布、歷史與生態紀錄，出版新書《山水之間覓泉湧》，為台灣首本埔里湧泉全紀錄。此計畫不僅提供科學資料，還整合當地文化與歷史背景，透過社區參與及教育活動，增強民眾對自然生態系統保護的認識。

2. 鱗甲守護者短片與棲地保育
短片「鱗甲守護者」榮獲 2024 年環境教育設施場所短影音競賽金獎，拍攝於 NCNU 永續生活實驗室，展示穿山甲棲地保護行動、校園樹木、草坪與灌木叢作為棲息地，以及教育宣導活動，促進陸域野生動物保育。

3. 2024 校園永續報告書

National Chi Nan University (NCNU) has long been committed to SDG 15 terrestrial ecosystem conservation, integrating campus research, USR community collaboration, and education initiatives. The 2024 Campus Sustainability Report discloses key achievements, showcasing the university’s tangible impact on ecosystem protection and habitat management within both campus and community.
1. Puli Springs Survey and Book Publication
The USR project, in collaboration with historian Pan Qiao, conducted a four-year field survey documenting natural springs’ distribution, history, and ecology in Puli. The results were published in Searching for Springs in the Mountains and Rivers, Taiwan’s first complete record of Puli springs, integrating ecological, cultural, and historical perspectives. Community participation and education activities enhanced public awareness of ecosystem conservation.

2. Guardian of Scales Short Film and Habitat Protection
The short film Guardian of Scales won the Gold Award in the 2024 Environmental Education Facility Short Video Competition, filmed at NCNU’s Sustainable Living Lab. It documents pangolin habitat protection, campus trees, lawns, and shrubs as habitats, protection measures against dogs and construction threats, and educational outreach. The film promotes terrestrial wildlife conservation awareness among students and the community.

3. 2024 Campus Sustainability Report
