深化在地農業與智慧食農教育：暨大發表SDG2進展
為深化社區對在地農業的支持與認同，並激勵青年投入食農教育與智慧農業產業，國立暨南國際大學創業育成中心於2024年12月9日主辦「科技與永續－在地食農體驗論壇」，吸引超過100位來自學界、政府單位及地方產業的專業人士及青年學子參與。論壇以智慧科技與永續發展為核心，展示青年團隊的創新實踐成果，並推廣即將開辦的「智慧暨永續農業學士學位學程」，培育具智慧科技能力與在地農業專業的「智慧青農」。
論壇邀請農業部、地方農改場及產業代表分享政策支持、科技應用及環境友善管理經驗，強調科技創新如何促進農產品價值提升與地產地消理念落實。學生團隊展示創新成果，將課堂學習與地方農業結合，落實教育與產業連結。暨大校長武東星表示，透過USR大學社會責任計畫與實地農業體驗，學校致力於提供青年專業學習與就業資源，並推動可持續農業發展，實際貢獻SDG2進展。相關資料呈現於社會實踐年報。
Advancing Local Agriculture and Smart Agri-Food Education: NCNU’s SDG2 Progress
To strengthen community support for local agriculture and inspire youth participation in agri-food education and smart farming, National Chi Nan University (NCNU) hosted the “Technology & Sustainability – Local Agri-Food Experience Forum” on December 9, 2024. Over 100 participants from academia, government, and local industries attended. The forum showcased student project outcomes and promoted the upcoming Bachelor’s Program in Smart & Sustainable Agriculture, cultivating “Smart Young Farmers” with expertise in sustainable agriculture and smart technologies.
Speakers from the Ministry of Agriculture, local agricultural research stations, and industry shared insights on policy support, technological applications, and eco-friendly farm management. Student teams presented innovative projects, integrating classroom learning with local agriculture. NCNU President Wu Dongxing emphasized that through the University Social Responsibility (USR) initiatives and hands-on agricultural experiences, the university provides professional learning opportunities, supports youth career development, and advances sustainable agriculture, contributing directly to SDG2 progress.
